adequate stay with some issues
troublesome entry system unhelpful response
the location was acceptable, near to local amenities.
The entry system was troublesome. I had difficulty accessing the hotel even with the provided code. i had to rely on other guests to assist me. the owner's response was unhelpful. He expected me to resolve the issue myself.

warm welcome parking spot bay window staff action street noise neighboring rooms
Victoria and Biscuit provided a warm welcome. They assisted me with finding a parking spot. I had a large room facing the front of the building. The room included a lovely bay window.
A member of staff attempted to enter my room in the morning. This occurred approximately 20 minutes before checkout time. There was some noise from the street outside at night. I could hear people in the neighboring rooms getting up early.

the staff helped me find parking! i had a large room at the front with a lovely bay window. the room included beverage making facilities with tea, coffee, chocolate and packs of biscuits.

spacious room romantic bed welcome addition
The Double Room was spacious! with a lovely four poster bed that added a touch of romance. I found tea and coffee facilities ready. Wine glasses were a welcome addition. It made our evenings special.
The stairs were a bit of a climb, particularly with luggage.

The staff allowed a smooth check-in at the pub next door. This setup felt very personal. The door entry system worked perfectly! It was simple to use and gave us peace of mind.

convenient stay near the pier
nice decoration comfortable room
i found the building had a nice decoration. i stayed in a double room that was comfortable with enough space. i checked in around 8pm at the pub next door where the reception was located. there were plenty of pubs, restaurants, and shops nearby and the sea was at the end of the street.
the flooring was cheaply done to me. also i think the shower should have included a bathmat. the handle of the shower needed tightening too.

the hotel benefits from a very central position with many kemptown bars and restaurants very close. the beach is also easily accessible being only a stone's throw from the hotel. i found the location convenient for exploring the area.
