the room was spacious and provided all necessary facilities. the bathroom included a bath separate from the shower. wonderful toiletries. the infinity pool offered fantastic harbor views and heating during the winter months. i loved the dining options and cocktails at red sugar which allowed me to admire the view.

service on my last night was poor and rigid. i was not told red sugar had a private event. i ate in the lobby bar and my main course arrived before my wife's, hers arrived 20 minutes later.

the hotel is near the whampoa mtr station. there is also a ferry service at the base of the hotel. this ferry goes to north point, also another goes to central, giving easy access to various locations.

the staff was gracious, helpful, professional, and warm. they arranged a crib and baby items. kirin helped make my check-in easy and seamless. everyone provided heartfelt chinese new year greetings, from check-in to thoughtful blessings.

The room offered a nice view of Victoria Harbour! The windows were very large. I could use a ferry at the base of the hotel to go to North Point and Central. I walked to Whampoa MTR in minutes. I also tried their shuttle service, convenient.

I noticed that check-in took a while because there were only two counters open during peak hours.
