A Nice Getaway
warm atmospheremaintained groundsparking spot
The staff greeted us warmly and helped with our bags (a very welcome service). The grounds were beautifully maintained, and we enjoyed the great weather there. I especially enjoyed the steak at the Hermione Restaurant. It came as I ordered it.
The parking situation was not ideal, as parking spots lacked clear markings. Upon arrival, I felt somewhat slighted when we couldn't park near reception because someone had reserved the area for children to play on.

The Hermione Restaurant at the Clubhouse provided a great dinner experience. The steak was cooked perfectly, matching my request, and the breakfast offered multiple choices. Portions were appropriately sized and the Eggs Benedict were excellent.

Christian offered a warm welcome and assisted us with our luggage to our room. Glen and Filip, two skillful bartenders, provided a really fun experience as we had our evening drinks. Check-out was fast and efficient as well.

Our Classic Castle Room had modern amenities. The room was well-appointed and I found it very comfortable. I think the beds were great, and that gave us a fantastic night's sleep (the first thing we mentioned upon waking).
