The staff was friendly. the room included tea and coffee facilities. i appreciated the key. It gave freedom after pub hours. the breakfast started with cereal, then a perfectly fried plate looked..
the curtains allowed a bit too much light in the early morning.

amazing breakfast easy access
The breakfast was amazing. I mean, the bacon was the best I've had in a long time. Access to the room was easy and parking worked just fine.
The drink making facilities were right next to a mold patch, so I didn't use it.

mixed experience due to noise and room issues
pub noise adjustable heating
the noise from the pub downstairs was a real problem. i could hear everything happening until late into the night. the room was also quite cold and i could not adjust the heating myself. these issues detracted from what could have been a more restful stay.

Decent Stay with a Few Minor Issues
tasty breakfast friendly cook comfortable room noisy drinkers thin curtains inadequate parking
The breakfast offered a good start to the day. The cook asked about my preferences, and the cooked breakfast was tasty. My room was comfortable and clean. The staff gave me a key, so I could return after the pub closed.
My room was located directly above the pub's outdoor seating area. Noisy drinkers kept me awake for a good portion of the night. Thin curtains did little to block a floodlight shining through the window. Parking was also inadequate.

Solid Stay in Central Location
varied choices separate entrance helpful staff
The breakfast had many choices. I liked the option of a sausage for my dog. A separate entrance existed away from the pub. This was useful when the pub was busy. Staff members were very helpful throughout my stay.
There was some noise from the pub downstairs at night. I found this slightly disruptive. I recommend that measures be taken to reduce sound transmission between the pub and guest rooms.
