The bed was not the most comfortable. I woke up with a bit of a back ache (nothing terrible though!). The fire doors slammed shut loudly throughout the night. I could hear people going in and out. This noise disrupted my sleep a little.

the room overlooked the parking area, a rather dull view. noise from the nearby road (it got irritating after a few hours) was noticeable, especially during peak times. the bathroom lacked a proper shelf for toiletries.

The staff were pleasant when I arrived. I was shown to my Large Double or Twin Room. The pub connected to the building felt warm and cute (it seemed clean, at least).

I found the absence of air conditioning to be a problem. It was a very hot day and I could not leave the windows open because there was no privacy. People could see directly into the room from the car park.

the location proved ideal for exploring nearby areas. the room offered ample space and featured tasteful decorations. i liked the separate building for guest rooms, it made it quiet.

The fire doors slammed shut throughout the night. i did not find that enjoyable, it disrupted sleep. also guests were smoking below our room. It filtered into our room.
