good wifinoisy golferssewer smell
the room was very spacious and clean it had good wifi.
i wasnt happy the restaurant wasnt serving meals in the evening so i had to eat in the clubhouse. it was full of golfers that were drinking and very noisy. the swearing was a problem and ruined my dinner. i found the breakfast was average, the fruit was not fresh and the bathroom smelled like sewers.

My visit lacked certain refinements. The light over the wardrobe mirror did not function. The shower sealant suffered from considerable black mold. A bit grim, I must say.

the room was a good size with comfy pillows. the staff were friendly and helpful throughout my stay. parking was easy, a definite plus for me.. the wifi worked well too.
the restaurant was not serving evening meals in the hotel so i had to walk to the clubhouse. the clubhouse was full of golfers drinking and it was noisy. the bathroom had a strange sewer smell, it was unpleasant.

The hotel is a short drive into the countryside from Basingstoke! I found it very quiet at night. The easy parking was very useful and convenient for coming and going.
