Fantastic stay near the station!

The room was very clean. I had good quality coffee in the room, which I liked. The staff were very friendly and helpful, they made mornings a great start to the day. Breakfast was superb, the best continental breakfast I've ever had (especially the croissants).
The emails prior to my trip mentioned road works and parking issues. If I had known about these before the free cancellation period ended, I might have cancelled the reservation.

The hotel has a central location within walking distance of the city center. You can park in the train station. The hotel is a one minute walk away. Cafés are near the hotel. It took me 5-10 minutes to walk to the centre.

The staff are very friendly and accommodating. They stayed later to check me in after I got stuck in traffic. Complimentary flapjack was a nice touch! I was given homemade cookies which tasted amazing.

The double room had a private bathroom. It features super clean linen and nice feather pillows. Tea and coffee making facilities are in the room. Ear plugs are provided, since it is close to the train station.

The breakfast was not great at all. the options were really limited especially considering the price i paid for the room. i was expecting a bit more variety and quality. It felt pretty basic. also, i found that soundproofing could be better, as i could hear quite a bit of noise from outside and other rooms.
