snowy surroundingsaccommodating staff
the junior suite featured views of the snowy surroundings and a small river the dinner was perfect they accommodated allergies well for both dinner and breakfast

the room seemed old. floor heating was not enough. photos does not reflect the reality. they showed one specific room with a view, so i thought all rooms had a view but this was not the case.

The setting is beautiful, showcasing vast fields and majestic mountains. seeing the icelandic ponies (they are so lovely!) added to the charm. we were fortunate to have a room with river views, spacious and very clean. the staff were very helpful. One even loaned us a phone charger.
the room lacked a mini refrigerator, which would have been convenient.

the hotel provides a sauna and a cold water tub to use. these facilities offer a refreshing experience after a day of exploring, though the cold tub is definitely invigorating. the sauna is well-kept and spacious.
