i appreciated the available coffee, tea, and snacks in lobby. the conservatory space was a plus for quiet relaxation. the reception area felt very home-like with tvs, sofas, and blankets. proximity to attractions and horses made it convenient.
the room felt a little warm for my comfort.

the hotel has easy access to golden circle attractions. the hotel is less than one hour from reykjavik. plenty of horses are located around the area. the location is very scenic.

The hotel provided a very cute atmosphere, i must say. the lobby featured a coffee and tea station and snacks available almost all the time. I found this particularly convenient. i also enjoyed the waffles during breakfast, a very nice touch. the free breakfast was plentiful, and it featured much variety.
The hotel room was uncomfortably warm, i noticed. This did affect my sleep somewhat.

The receptionist was friendly and enthusiastic, offering interesting local stories. the receptionist provided helpful information about the area and gave great suggestions. They gave a good idea of what to look for. this made my exploration much easier.

My room had comfortable features. The comfy bed helped me rest and relax after long travel days. the room was functional, so it served my basic needs. it was perfectly adequate for a few restful nights!

the location is pretty isolated, ideal if you want to get away from it all. this seclusion is perfect for viewing the aurora borealis, though the night has to be clear. it's a great place to escape!

The breakfast was good, with a decent selection of items to start the day. I especially appreciated the self-serve waffle station. It was a nice touch. The staff were polite. They provided useful information about local attractions.
Unfortunately I found a couple of hairs in the bed. This made me question the overall cleanliness of the bedding. a high-pitched noise came from the bathroom throughout the night. This disturbed my sleep and made it difficult to rest well

the room was clean the bed was comfortable bathroom was clean and water pressure was perfect.
our shower door did not stay on its rails and the carpet was stained also the outdoor shower by the hot tubs was not working two hallway lights were just bulbs with no covers the view out our window is shown.

The room was very hot. There were bugs in the hot tub water. The sauna did not work during both visits. The bathroom seemed not clean as previously experienced.
