excellent location convenient access dog welcome
The location was excellent with convenient access to the village. The complimentary parking onsite proved valuable. I especially appreciated that they warmly welcomed dogs.

Wonderful Lakeside Retreat!

The location was indeed perfect. Having direct access to the lakeshore was a treat. The reception provided camping chairs and umbrellas for lakeside visits. That was helpful. Walking maps were also available. That was really useful. The luxurious bath tub was wonderful. I was able to relax after a long day.
I noticed only one very minor thing, I wish there were more breakfast options available on site, instead of at the cafe.

i found the location convenient, close to everything i needed. the hotel impressed me with its cleanliness. the team managing the place is clearly passionate about their work and the area. i also appreciated the local beer available.
i noticed a very slight dog smell in some areas of the hotel.

the location was advantageous, offering a short walk to the village (only two minutes!). the room, treetop room, was clean. i found good quality toiletries were provided, along with a selection of teas and coffee.
i found no staff present, except for a brief sighting of a cleaner. breakfast was offered at a local cafe with a discount (ten percent off). there were no options on site. the bed and pillows were too firm, resulting in a poor night's sleep.

The house has lake access and a large garden. The hotel is partnered with a local pub for dinner and breakfast (you can get a discount with your room key). Suggested walking maps were available. The bed and sofa were both comfortable.
