I found this place a great starting point for lakeland walks. the location allows quick access to numerous trails. i particularly appreciated the beautiful surroundings. They made every walk nice. the staff was helpful, directing me to different routes..

plentiful nice breakfast lacking welcome warm reception
the breakfast WAS really NICE and plentiful.
the WELCOME was lacking and they did not seem to have a clue about their bookings. service certainly did not come with a smile. i would have liked a more warm reception.

really good food real food choices attentive staff dedication testament
The food was really good! i had dinner and breakfast each morning. the menu is straightforward, yet it provides plenty of real food choices. mark and his wife are so attentive. They manage the bar, restaurant, and cleaning, a testament to their dedication.
I found the lack of certain facilities slightly inconvenient. It would be great to have an expanded range of options seeking more diverse amenities
