the language barrier was a challenge, it was difficult to communicate effectively with some staff. the shower had poor pressure and a weird smell. there should have been more complimentary water in the villa

The gardens were well maintained with tropical vegetation. Our garden view villa reminded me of a mini-villa. The shower room had a walk-in shower and double sink. The hotel was quiet at night..

The hotel provided an iron, but no ironing board initially. It took three days to finally receive one. My mojito was weak during happy hour. There weren't many sunbeds in the shade.

I found lanta palace offered a beautiful location for a romantic getaway. the staff showed such thoughtful service, especially with our dinner and breakfast. our villa and the beach were both perfect, everything impeccably clean. It seemed like a hidden world just for us.

the only minor issue was the limited shade by the pool, as some loungers were often reserved with towels, a small inconvenience in an otherwise perfect setting.

The restaurant features huge portions of tasty food, and starters are nearly main course size. breakfast offers a great selection in a buffet style with waiter service for eggs and smoothies which adds a nice touch. coffee is great. I think it was nespresso.

The rooms are beautifully designed, include everything you need, and feature great air-conditioning. nespresso coffee machines and usb chargers are convenient additions. even the mini bar prices match the bar prices which is a nice bonus. It feels like pure indulgence.

The language barrier made communication difficult, especially when trying to resolve issues with my room. I found it frustrating that my requests sometimes got lost in translation. This negatively impacted the overall experience, despite the staff's best intentions.

The beautiful grounds featured a good-sized pool and an idyllic beachfront. The gardens were meticulously maintained. The breakfast buffet had a wide array of Thai and European options and custom-cooked eggs. I liked the fresh fruit smoothies and smooth cappuccino. Our garden view villa was a detached mini-villa surrounded by tropical vegetation. The large shower room contained a walk-in shower and double sink.

The mosque nearby had loud calls to prayer multiple times a day. The 5 AM call was not ideal.
