Great experience Overall
friendly staff tasty crème brûlée decorated room
the staff WAS super friendly. It was my honeymoon and we got a very tasty crème brûlée together with a decorated room. i really recommend it to everyone. the quietness of the hotel was great!
the first room that we got had a damp smell! However the receptionist kindly upgraded our room and there were no issues with the new room.

Breakfast included a variety of options and a double espresso was available upon request. I loved the smoked bassa fillets. The dining area was clean, bright, and well-kept each morning.

The hotel is located a 15-17 minute walk to Ho Kiem Lake. The streets to and from the lake from the hotel are broad and quiet. Lots of embassies and government offices provided great security.

the breakfast buffet included soya milk and various fruits. i found the room cleaned to a high standard.
the swimming pool area had no air conditioning, so it was a bit cramped.

poor ventilation thin walls
the breakfast was good with a decent selection of items available.
My room lacked proper ventilation. the air conditioning unit struggled to maintain a consistent temperature, it often felt either too cold or too stuffy, disrupting my sleep. also, i encountered some noise issues . The walls seemed thin, and i could clearly hear conversations and activity from neighboring rooms, it made relaxation difficult.

superb stay with excellent service
friendly staff comfortable car restaurant reservation
the hotel staff made reservations for us at popular restaurants. i also requested the cheapest type of shuttle car from the airport, but a very comfortable car came (without any extra charge, of course). the hotel staff were very friendly. i would like to stay again.
our room did not have a window, we had no idea what the weather was like. so check what room you reserve, as we were unable to change rooms without extra cost. small rooms had a few items from previous guests under the bed, always a bit creepy.

the rooftop infinity pool was large with gorgeous city skyline views. the pool is a great size and offers a refreshing escape. spa facilities were a bonus.

brick wall poor soundproofing
So, I booked a "Superior Double or Twin Room City View". Well, it was double alright, and there was a city. the view mainly consisted of a brick wall, so that's a win. I could hear everything from the room above such as the sound of constant moving of furniture. The soundproofing needs desperate work.

our superior double room city view was perfect. the beds had soft, crisp linens. the bathroom included fluffy towels and fragrant toiletries. breakfast had a wide assortment of fruits and pastries! we walked everywhere!
The pool area lacked adequate air conditioning. It was a bit uncomfortable after swimming.
