clean roommissing shower gel
the room was clean and relatively quiet, a definite plus.
The lack of shower gel was annoying since the reservation said it should be provided, but staff claimed they don't offer it. It's definitely showing its age.

mixed feelings about the stay
shabby roomweird covering
The room showed its age. Some fixtures looked worn. painting occurred in the hallway. The elevator had protective coverings on the walls and floor. it gave the impression of a service elevator, not what i expected. a general refresh of the premises would improve the experience. (a little bit of care would go a long way, really)

the room had an amazing manhattan bridge view and the location was excellent. the bed was very comfortable and the hotel provides both drinking water and hot water. wifi was also good. the front desk staff, including ricardo, was helpful and kind. i appreciated their attentiveness.
i noticed that the elevator is quite small.

the hotel sits near many subway stations in chinatown, and it felt safe. i could walk to soho easily and i liked the central positioning. it was convenient for getting around.

the room was spacious, and the view of manhattan bridge was a definite highlight. i appreciated the large window and found the space well kept. the bed was comfortable for a good night's rest.
