24-hour front deskinadequate soundproofingmalfunctioning temperature control
The 24-hour front desk was acceptable given my late arrival.
The room lacked adequate soundproofing. I could hear noise from the hallway and adjacent rooms throughout the night. The temperature control did not function correctly. The room remained cold.

hallway noiseslack of concern
the absence of soundproofing became quite apparent i could clearly hear hallway noises and conversations from adjacent rooms this made restful sleep difficult roadworks occurred during the night outside my window vibrations shook the room until after midnight when i mentioned this to reception they did not seem particularly concerned it felt as if my concern was an imposition to them
