great find near the coast
great locationenglish breakfasthelpful owners
the location is great for coastal walks. breakfast had a nice variety with cereals, fruit, and a full english option where i chose the specific items i wanted. the owners offered a ride from lynmouth if we did not want to walk, a very kind gesture. tea, coffee, hot chocolate, and milk were available in the room, alongside some biscuits.
the shower pressure was lower than i expected.

breakfast service included fresh-cooked items. vegetarian sausages were made available (a thoughtful touch). the dining area was bright and clean, seating approximately 12 guests, i could see. the dining room has ample lighting.

i found the breakfast good with variety. the location works well for walks. they welcomed my dog. jan and kevin, the owners, are friendly, really making us feel at home and helped with extra towels for the dog.
The wc seemed a little old. It did not flush properly.

the standard double room include a tv and free wifi, so i can stream movies. the room include double french doors opening onto the lawn. i used the mini fridge for my drinks.

The toilet was quite old , and flushing was a struggle. the shower had very weak water pressure , , made it difficult to rinse properly. also , the smell of old cooking oil filled the hallway in the morning . I think they need to change it more often.
