The village sits on the banks of the Nambucca River, providing direct access to a fishing jetty and a pontoon for water activities. Nambucca River Department Store is a 5-minute drive away, and the Nambucca Heads town centre is 10 minutes away. Valla Beach is a 15-minute drive from the property, and the Frank Partridge VC Military Museum in Bowraville is nearby.

Children have access to a dedicated kids' pool with a mushroom water feature, plus a playground and outdoor play equipment. The park provides board games and puzzles, a games room with a pool table, and a mini golf course suitable for all ages. A fence surrounds the pool area, and a shallow end ensures safe swimming for younger guests.

The park has a fully fenced off-leash dog park that was empty during guest stays, offering a safe space for dogs to run.
