poor soundproofing

The room itself looked pretty nice, i'll admit. but the lack of soundproofing? a real joke. i could hear every single conversation happening in the hallway like they were right next to me. They didn't warn me about it before i arrive.

the room smelled strongly of sewage throughout my stay. the reception desk was situated very close to the room entrance, almost obstructing the door. this was not what i anticipated, especially considering the high cost of the room for just one night.
