a haven amidst the city

the rooftop pool offered amazing views, perfect for a romantic evening swim. the breakfast buffet was excellent with many diverse options. our premier twin room was very spacious and clean, it was steps away from tourist attractions.
The room smelled musty when we first entered. The aroma was unpleasant and remained throughout our stay!

The breakfast buffet had at least 20 different items. It was the largest i have ever seen. a cook prepared eggs to order. we enjoyed sampling the local flavors each morning.

rooftop poolgarbage filled alley
the rooftop pool was alright i guess.
honestly, getting to the place was a nightmare. it reminded me of i was driving through some back alley filled with trash, hardly the hotel's fault but still... not exactly a stellar first impression, eh?

the hotel reception is excellent WITH art deco wooden carvings. the breakfast spread was good AS well. the skybar on the 14th floor IS excellent.
the ac was not working properly, the staff fixed it though it was noisy.

the room cleanliness was a letdown, especially considering this hotels rating. i noticed several stains on the bed sheets and dust in corners. the bathroom tap was oddly placed outside the shower area and there was no proper place for towels near the shower. also the fridge had a strange smell, it seemed it had been unplugged.
