Underwhelming stay at an aging hotel

damp smelldated bathroom

The interiors felt very tired. Our room, a Palace Superior Room, had a noticeable damp smell. The bathroom seemed dated. I'm not sure the price was justified given the condition.

The hotel staff was friendly and helpful. I especially appreciated this. the building is gorgeous, both inside and out. i was lucky to get upgraded to a very comfortable suite. the bed was comfortable. I slept very well.

the room interiors seemed a bit old.
