Welsh hospitality at its finest

David was really good. He checked us in swiftly. He also had extensive local knowledge. He gave some personalized hike recommendations. The room was quiet, very clean and well-equipped. We slept soundly! A nice bar and bistro are located downstairs. Dinner was tasty. I took the optional breakfast the next morning. It was well-priced.
I noticed a very slight decor imperfection. Wallpaper was coming away from the walls in the room. It did not bother me too much, though.

the room was not what i expected for the price. i saw cobwebs in the corners, and the heating didn't work properly. the interior was also dated.. i thought breakfast cost too much extra.

it was just alright, i guess

I gotta say, the room wasn't exactly super clean. i saw some marks on the wall, and one looked suspiciously like dried blood under some artwork, ew. also, the tv cables were all over the place. Who does that? and seriously, the coffee at breakfast? tasted like dishwater. i didn't bother to report anything, though. too tired.

The staff provided an really good service. They accommodated my nervous dog with a room near a fire exit. I enjoyed dinner in a designated quiet section. The staff offered to bring food to the room. The room was indeed pet-friendly.
I found the room lacked proper drying facilities. After climbing a mountain on a wet day, I had no means to dry wet clothes. It would be a valuable addition.
