estuary view stay
i had a spacious superior double room with a little enclosed verandah. i could sit there and watch the boating action on the estuary. the room was beautifully decorated it was also quiet.

the hotel has an elegant bar. there is also a dining area available. safe parking is available just opposite the hotel, a bonus for drivers.

i adored how generous the superior double room was. it had space i didn't expect. breakfast offered a great variety. the staff i found to be friendly. i felt very welcomed during my time here.
my room wasn't soundproof and i could hear noises from other rooms. the wifi connection wasn't so great and it kept dropping. the bar service was advertised as open all day but it was not in reality.

the room had a splendid bathroom, it was quite large.
dinner was quite poor, i found no finesse at all in the dishes. my fish was very overcooked. overall the hotel feels tired and could use some love.

i enjoyed the spacious superior double room. it offered a lovely view of the estuary. the breakfast was great (especially the pancakes!).
the furniture was old-fashioned. mirrors were chipped and dirty. the bathroom had a bathtub instead of a shower.

enclosed verandah quiet room safe parking easy access
The superior double room had a lovely enclosed verandah. i loved watching the boating activity from there. the room was decorated beautifully and felt so quiet! safe parking opposite the hotel made things easier. I appreciated that.
i noticed potentially better soundproofing between rooms could improve the stay.

small room inner courtyard
easy parking existed.
the room was small and faced an inner courtyard i found this disappointing given the price i paid per night without breakfast the value for money felt poor the room was dated too.
