Really good stay
friendly welcomemountain viewspot cooking
I appreciated the friendly welcome. The room, a Double Room Mountain View, had a large mountain view. The cooking was spot on, I must say.

Martin and robin were attentive hosts, offering stories and aiming to create a cute environment (i really appreciated their hospitality). the building had significant history, which they shared willingly. food was cooked to order for both the evening meal and breakfast. I found both to be of high quality. the shared dining room facilitated enjoyable conversations with other guests, enriching the overall experience.
the location is somewhat remote, requiring a car for convenient access to nearby attractions.

Dietary requirements were taken seriously. The hosts went the extra mile to include items not usually on the menu. i dined in the dining room. It offered a lovely view over the valley as the morning mist dissipated.

Martin and robin offered much knowledge of the surrounding area. They were very cute and helpful. communication before my stay was great. It addressed any questions i had.

mixed feelings about my stay
small roominsufficient lighting
the room was certainly a disappointment. i booked what I thought would be a spacious twin room, but it turned out to be quite small and rather cramped. THE lighting was also insufficient, difficult to see properly in the evenings. the promised seating area consisted of only one chair, so it was not very practical.

Acceptable stay marred by room issues

The owners were cute and prepared lovely meals for dinner and breakfast.
Our room was disappointing. It was a small room, unlike the photos, with only one seat for two people. The veranda had potential, it had amazing views, but was untidy with what was to be rubbish (and a dirty ashtray). It seemed some attention to detail was missing.
