I stayed in a super beautiful double room sea view. the room had very clean bathrooms. It featured a hydro massage bath and a television. breakfast was tasty, and i liked the dining room.
the carpet had a dated design, it could use some updating.

mixed experience with service issues
loud musicinconsistent service
The loud music from the bar was a significant issue. it continued late into the night and made it difficult to sleep. the lack of double glazing did not help, as street noise also penetrated the room (i found this very disruptive). additionally, the service was inconsistent. Some staff were friendly, but others lacked enthusiasm. this.

I found the staff friendly. the games room is a really great space, there are tables for drinks where people can sit. the bar proved nice. i thought the drinks were reasonably priced. My pint cost £4.60.
the room was quite noisy at night because of live music in the pub below. drunk people outside added to the noise after the pub closed and swore. i would have preferred it if these issues were mentioned beforehand.

the room had a tv that seemed old, it was not a smart tv. there was a mini fridge, though it did not stay very cold due to the electricity switching off when i left. the bed was comfortable.

breakfast offered a good full buffet with toast and cereals. menu items also included smoked salmon. staff efficiently provided tea and coffee, it was a great offering.

Customer service was very good. Staff seemed polite. they were helpful, and always smiling. the reception on arrival was friendly, a good service.

the breakfast service was rather disorganized. staff did not promptly refill items. i also found the noise levels at night rather HIGH. there was a lot of noise from the street, and it made it hard to sleep soundly. the room required better soundproofing.
