amazing beachfront stay!

i was so close to the beach i could hear the waves all night i loved it the chalet was super spacious with everything i needed for cooking a proper meal the sunset views right outside were unreal too the check in at the restaurant was easy and the food there was delicious i recommend it.

this motel offers true beachfront access beautiful rock formations are just across the way it provides views of the coast it is also near lookouts and it is a short walk to pancake rocks

the staff was helpful they even assisted with sending forgotten items to christchurch they didn't wait for shipping costs it displayed great hospitality and customer service the check-in process at the restaurant was convenient too

the motel has modern cooking equipment in the rooms plus there is the possibility of breakfast and dinner on site at the restaurant it offers ease and comfort for meals without having to leave the hotel

the location was excellent. i could easily walk to pancake rocks (it was a short stroll). parking right outside the unit was very helpful, it made loading and unloading straightforward.
the wifi signal was very weak . i was unable to stream any video content. contacting the staff before arrival proved difficult (my emails went unanswered).

not quite beachfront bliss
difficult check-inpoor shower
check-in was a bit of a trek, you see. i had to traipse down the road to the pub to get my key, it was a proper nuisance. the room itself was alright, clean enough, but the bathroom really let it down. the shower's water pressure was practically non-existent, and the temperature kept switching from freezing to scalding. not the relaxing experience i was hoping for, i must say.

the location is indeed right on the beach. hearing the surf was special. the room was large and airy. picnic tables are available near the breakwater for ocean or cliffs views.
check-in was not clear upon my arrival. i had to call to learn check-in was at a local restaurant down the road. the cabin overlooked the communal carpark. the plastic plants inside the cabin seemed unnecessary.

The location was great. I could easily walk to the beach.
Check-in occurred at the pub down the road and it felt odd. the room smelled damp even with the dehumidifier running, it really bothered me. the shower pressure was also very poor. The heater did not function at all. it was a disappointing experience all around

i really appreciated the cabin. it was right next to the beach and equipped with everything i needed. the unit was also clean and nicely furnished.
the check-in location caused confusion , as it was not at the same place as the motel. this was not communicated prior to arrival , but a message would have been helpful.

I found the location to be convenient for accessing nearby walking routes. The inclusion of both heating and electric blankets was a definite plus. The self-contained accommodation was clean. It contained everything I needed.
