my week-long stay included a wonderfully attentive staff. my room had luxurious features along with a comfortable bed. the immaculate hotel featured a very very comfy and tidy pool area. i also appreciated the close proximity to the beach and easily accessible transportation when i needed it.
i did notice the garden seemed a little overgrown, this made me notice an abundance of mosquitos. i was also slightly dissapointed with the lack of restaurant facilities outside of breakfast time.

the hotel sits very close to the beach at vale do garrao. shopping at quinta is also nearby. the hotel felt very private despite its proximity to local amenities.

the breakfast selection included a wide variety of continental foods. i noted that changes could easily be made to suit individual preferences. the staff were very helpful offering advice about the surrounding area.

my bedroom included a private terrace which was ideal for relaxation. the rooms feature wonderful decoration. i also enjoyed the inviting lounge with a wood burning fire offering a space to meet with other guests.

The staff was always willing to assist and created a cute atmosphere. Breakfast included fresh orange juice daily. The hotel features a living room , perfect for enjoying drinks by the fireplace. The honesty bar offered a large selection of red wines. I found that very convenient.

The hotel is in a GREAT location. The hotel offers convenient access to nearby attractions. I found it quite easy to explore the surrounding area, and I could enjoy the local scenery.

The staff showed attentiveness and care to guests. The receptionist was helpful. Every day from morning until late at night, a bonfire was lit in the salon chimney, and it felt cozy. I appreciated the personalized attention.

The room looked quite dated , and the carpet had some very noticeable stains. The shower wasn't draining properly , so water overflowed easily. This made showering an inconvenience. I also noticed that the television was really small.
