the hotel is situated right on the river offering a lovely view and many restaurants are below along the river walkway it's a short walk into the main town so everything is super accessible and fun to explore.

the location was certainly key. it was only a 5 minute walk to the main city. the staff were very pleasant upon arriving and departing. i was given a map of the area to help me get around.

The room was horrendously hot. i had to open the window all night, even though it was very cold outside. the pillows were horrendous, so i had to use four of them. shower gel was missing. I had to ask for it.

the room was very clean and quite spacious. the hotel also offers leisure facilities with a nice spa, i appreciated that.

The room temperature control was not perfect. It was either too cold or too warm.
