excellent stay near hadrian's wall
wild countrysideextended staylimited options
the location proved advantageous for visiting hadrian's wall and the surrounding area. the wild countryside around the hotel was lovely. the hotel itself was a major factor in extending our stay to further explore the area.
i found limited dining options around the hotel. only one pub seemed to serve meals on a friday night.

The breakfast buffet offered many choices. I ate in my room. It was large, clean, and well-appointed. The room had a kitchenette, a GODSEND!!!
I noticed a funny smell in the bathroom.

the superior king room offered ample space i found the bed comfortable the room also featured modern decor. breakfast included a good selection of pastries i particularly enjoyed the fresh croissants. the staff were attentive and helpful with directions to local attractions i found this very convenient.
the on-street parking could sometimes be a challenge especially during peak hours.
