the staff at reception helped us secure an extra night after our eurostar got canceled. miles in the bar provided great drinks after a long day. the whole experience was great and i would highly recommend it to anyone (especially the bar service).
i noticed one day that the tea and coffee tray was not refreshed. i was left with dirty cups, no milk, and no sugar. the music from a function on sunday night was loud and continued late.

the breakfast offered a wide choice and was cooked really well (i found nothing looking like it had been out for ages). the hotel bar provided friendly and hospitable service, ensuring drinks were perfect after a warm day.

i find a free parking spot on arrival, a nice perk. the room was so clean, and the staff provided prompt service. i loved the location, a short walk to richmond park is so nice.
the smaller room made storing all my clothing a slight challenge, and no drawers isn't ideal.

i found the staff friendly and professional (they were always ready to help). the food was fabulous, i especially enjoyed the great choices at breakfast. the evening meal was divine. i stayed for two nights this year.
the room was small and not very clear, i was like being cut from the corridor. i could hear passing noises. it was like a broom cupboard converted into a room, and sold as a 4 stars one too.

underwhelming room and hidden charges

well, i must say, the room i got wasnt exactly what i expected. it looked out over some bins and a car park. also, i needed some ice after a motorcycle mishap and they wanted to charge eight pounds for room delivery. zero empathy, i tell ya. and the endless hidden charges in this pokey place really got on my nerves.
