adequate but underwhelming stay

soft sheetssoft mattressdisappointing breakfast
the soft sheets and towels met my expectations for a hotel in this category.
The breakfast was a letdown. I anticipated a selection of pastries, meats, and cheeses. instead, i received a sausage and bacon sandwich. my wife also found the mattress too soft. i prefer a firmer sleeping surface.

the farm seemed like a hidden gem , a place my wife dreamt of visiting near the beamish museum. our anniversary weekend in the charming cottage was perfect , nestled in beautiful countryside. the location was superb for exploring , and i could easily drive to newcastle or durham.
i found the breakfast somewhat underwhelming. i anticipated a wider selection like croissants and cheeses , but received a sausage and bacon sandwich.
