a peaceful getaway
clean roomcomfortable bedeasy access
the room i had was clean i found the bed to be comfortable it assured restful sleep i appreciated the off road carpark it added convenience. the access was easy i managed to get into the room with no issues the location was ideal for visiting family.
the parking spaces were a little small i think repainting would improve them.

a friendly pub is conveniently located next door offering meal options the village itself lacks a café but a great farm shop is available a short drive away near southwell.

off road car parking is available providing secure spaces the hotel is unmanned but the owner lives nearby i am sure they are accessible if needed by phone or text.

the room was recently refurbished it featured comfortable bedding a hot drink station included hot chocolate it was a very thoughtful detail to see in the room.

the location is ideal for visiting family and attending events at the nearby racecourse the village is quiet and pretty providing a peaceful atmosphere the location is very handy.

the host was helpful recommending places to eat locally and providing dog accessories very kind of them. communication was good the owner was easily reachable by text when i required them.

small spacesdust accumulation
Parking was difficult the allocated spaces felt too small. I struggled to maneuver my car. The room lacked thorough cleaning specifically I noticed dust accumulation on several surfaces and some areas looked neglected. This oversight affected my overall impression the room needed more attention to detail. The sink was quite small it was difficult to use.
