Charming stay in town
friendly staffcooked breakfaston-site parking
The staff was friendly. the breakfast included delicious cooked options. on-site parking was a HUGE plus. It was located behind the hotel. the room was very clean and had plenty of tea and coffee.

poor shower pressurelimited breakfast choices
I found the shower pressure unacceptable. the water trickled out . furthermore , the absence of a variety of breakfast options was a significant oversight. i expected more than just a full english breakfast . There should have been lighter alternatives available , such as fruit or yogurt.

the staff were very helpful. the breakfast was good (especially the bacon). the bar area was lovely and cosy.
the shower pressure was really low, so having a shower was difficult. there were only two coat hangers available in the wardrobe. i was not able to use restaurant facilities at lunchtime because a large party booked it.

my room was a superior king room. complimentary items included a box of teas, coffees, biscuits, and mineral water. breakfast was quite tasty with excellent choices (the scrambled eggs were cooked to perfection!). staff members were helpful, offering a warm welcome.
i found the car park location a bit tricky initially, being in the next street.

the staff were very friendly and helpful i also found the breakfast excellent. great parking was available and i could keep my car there while exploring the town. the room was clean and the bed was comfortable.
the shower ran cold and water pressure was awful it was very disappointing. there were only two teabags in the room that seemed stingy.

The location was EXCELLENT. The breakfast was also great, with lots of choice. The staff were very helpful and polite .
The shower pressure was really poor. The shower head was spraying everywhere, unfortunately. The dials were also really stiff.

The room was a good size, with a comfy bed. I appreciated the free parking. It made arrival and departure easy. The location is very central (the main street is nearby). I also enjoyed a tasty breakfast there.
The bathroom needs updating. The shower's water pressure was terrible. I ended up having to use the bath instead (it wasn't pleasant).
