Really good Stay
friendly staff welcome basket tasty breakfast
I found the staff friendly. Their warmth was noticeable upon arrival. I especially liked the welcome basket. It added a special touch. The breakfast was also excellent. I found it tasty and fresh.

EXCELLENT getaway!
historic building perfect sleep delicious breakfast
The historic building possessed character and charm. I found the bed and pillows provided a PERFECT sleep. Breakfast was delicious with lots of choice.
The road out front WAS noisy in the morning.

The staff were very helpful throughout my stay. The lady on reception was particularly pleasant. The owners provided great assistance after my late arrival. I felt welcomed.

I found the honesty bar to be a great idea. It leads out onto the beautiful gardens. I appreciate the on-site parking availability and the good number of practically located power sockets in the room.

The location offers easy connections to bus and train routes. The hotel features a lovely walk by the track and river. I also discovered that The Bridge Inn is just a five-minute walk away.

loud road broken mesh
The road noise in the morning was quite loud. My room felt a little cramped for storage. There was only one bedside table. I also noticed the fan's safety mesh was broken (it was really the hottest day).
