Excellent Lodge Stay

I don't understand some negative feedback. The grounds appear very clean and well maintained. We stayed in a Heartwood lodge, and it was very spacious. The kids liked the bunk beds. We had loads of privacy and green space. It was not crammed in like some places.
The paths are not well lit at night. It could be dangerous. The paths are uneven.

The shop had lovely pastries. The restaurants are good, but Aubrey's Forest Kitchen is especially nice.. The Woodside Inn pub and Woodside suite had great evening entertainment.

The adventure playground, soft play area, and swimming pool were a hit with the kids. Children enjoyed the Land Rover driving and painting activities. The pool has friendly lifeguards.

Check-in via your car was fast and efficient. All staff were very friendly. The activity leaders were fantastic. Jessie, the children's entertainer, was fabulous.

The lodge was very clean upon arrival. Guest Wi-Fi for the whole site was good. The beds in the bedrooms were comfortable and provided everything needed.
