i REALLY enjoyed my visit. the Zen pod was massive. it was clean with everything i needed. the hot tub was well maintained and the perfect size.
the soft play area had NO balls in the ball pit.

i GOT the Luxury Lodge 3 Bedroom and WOW. it had such a big kitchen with a dishwasher, i appreciate it SO much. the bedrooms was spacious too, and the en-suite bathroom are totally superb. the sofa bed WAS comfortable and easily housed six people.
the restaurant CLOSED early sometimes, this FORCED us to eat out a couple days.

the cabin Was so great I had. the location was so peaceful and quiet. the cabin decor was modern, warm, and inviting. the bedrooms were spacious, and the en-suite bathroom was superb!
the men's changing rooms were out of service so ALL men and women used the women's. changing rooms were freezing.

aubrey's restaurant had GREAT food and the service was superb. the shop sold many items needed and was well stocked. the coffee area was an amazing addition I enjoyed very much.

there were so MANY activities, including Llama walking. the staff was friendly and happy to help us. the swimming pool was open with great hours, and peace was all AROUND.

The lodge size was good. the kitchen had good equipment including a dishwasher. i found the on-site shop convenient. It stocked essentials i needed. wifi access was available, i could stay connected easily.
the check-in time was at 4pm, making me wish for an earlier arrival to fully utilize the hot tub.

The entertainment team demonstrated brilliance. Jade remembered my son visited stone henge. she also asked him if he enjoyed the place.

I got a takeaway from the woodside inn. the food was okay but overpriced for what it was. There are better options available in the local town. it is convenient, however, to be able to eat on-site.

Excellent Lodge Stay

I don't understand some negative feedback. The grounds appear very clean and well maintained. We stayed in a Heartwood lodge, and it was very spacious. The kids liked the bunk beds. We had loads of privacy and green space. It was not crammed in like some places.
The paths are not well lit at night. It could be dangerous. The paths are uneven.

The shop had lovely pastries. The restaurants are good, but Aubrey's Forest Kitchen is especially nice.. The Woodside Inn pub and Woodside suite had great evening entertainment.

The adventure playground, soft play area, and swimming pool were a hit with the kids. Children enjoyed the Land Rover driving and painting activities. The pool has friendly lifeguards.

Check-in via your car was fast and efficient. All staff were very friendly. The activity leaders were fantastic. Jessie, the children's entertainer, was fabulous.
