sean and sian.), they cared for us. nothing ever seemed like too much trouble. they prepared very nice home-cooked breakfasts. they ensured our stay was lovely, and we can't wait to return for another visit.
the area around the windows did show some wear and tear.

My room had some issues. There was noticeable mold in the bathroom. Thick moss covered the window, and it was impossible to open. The room felt dark. The layout definitely needed some rethinking.

The owner, Sean, gave a lift down the road. It helped so much the next day. I really enjoyed the cracking full English breakfast they fix.

Excellent Hospitality Near Hadrian's Wall

My room had a very spacious feel to it (I believe it was newly renovated). The included breakfast was excellent, and I was given many choices. The hosts also helped me with transportation. They drove me to a local restaurant and picked me up afterwards. That level of service is really good.
The window in my room had some moss buildup. It was minor, but it kept me from opening it for fresh air. Addressing this would enhance the guest experience.
