The breakfast included a variety of options. the location felt wonderful near the historical dockyard and shopping. the room had a comfortable bed with soft bedding. the staff are helpful. They found a better room for us when we asked.
The scaffolding outside created some noise in the morning. It would be great if this could be addressed.

our room was a nice size. a comfortable bed provided good sleep. opening windows allowed for fresh air. the room gave us a perfect temperature without needing air conditioning.

the hotel enjoys excellent proximity to the historical dockyard. the gun wharf quay felt quite nearby. the railway station and ferry terminal were accessible. parking in the back was a nice convenience.

The location was fantastic. It was lovely being next to the seafront and shops. The staff was SO friendly and very accommodating to our needs. I already told relatives that IT is good.
the bedroom furniture WAS tired, with loose handles and lots of chipped paint.

This location is near various facilities, including the Portsmouth Harbour train station. It is a short walk to the Historic Dockyard and mary rose museum. The hotel's proximity to transport hubs made getting around EASY.

Breakfast had plenty of choices and was beautifully cooked. Kippers were available as a breakfast option. The hotel itself only serves breakfast, but a pub with food is nearby THE hotel.

erratic showerstreet traffic
The room felt smaller than expected. the shower temperature was erratic. It alternated between scalding hot and freezing cold without warning, causing annoyance. i also noticed the noise level from nearby street traffic was higher than is acceptable. It disrupted sleep. the provided earplugs didn't do much to block it out.
