acceptable location, some Disappointing aspects
good locationbasement roomconstant noise
the location is good it is close to paddington station.
i was assigned a basement room. the room was dimly lit and excessively hot and it was next to a fire door under a staircase. noise from underground trains was constant and disruptive.

mixed experience due to room issues
small roomunsafe step
the room i was assigned was quite small , the bathroom was like an afterthought. it was essentially a corner of the room partitioned off. the bright light inside was a real problem at night , and the high step into it was unsafe. i also found that there was no lift , so lugging my bags up the stairs was frustrating.

The location is wonderful, close to Paddington Station. The neighborhood has a pleasant, leafy feel (I found it very charming!). The rooms are clean and the daily room service is reliable.
There is no lift, but that was not a problem for me.
