just okay, i guess
loud air conditioning funny towels
the breakfast was fine, i suppose. they had some fruit and stuff.
The room was pretty dated. the air conditioning didn't really worked, and it was loud all night. also, the bathroom wasn't great. The shower head sprayed everywhere, and the towels smelled kinda funny.

charming colonial stay
colonial style excellent location helpful staff
I admired the premises for keeping the original colonial style. The location is excellent, near the lake. A walk to a Buddhist temple takes only about 20 minutes. When you enter the building, you feel removed from the bustle of the town. The hotel staff were helpful, offering quick assistance with any request.
The air conditioning unit was loud. It made it difficult to sleep comfortably.

The pool has scenic lake views and provides a relaxing atmosphere, though i noticed some wear. It could use minor updates. I saw a billiard table. It is available for guest use.

The hotel is beside the lake, offering nice views. The railway station is near. A short drive gets you there. The hotel is somewhat removed from the city's immediate activity, so it provides a quieter setting.

Breakfast had varied choices, including Sri Lankan dishes. I found vegetarian options available. The dining area offered ample space. It was convenient for large groups. The food was delicious and well-prepared.

the staff were very supportive and always ready to assist. Upon arrival, I was greeted warmly. I saw one staff member offer a towel to a guest soaked from the rain.

refreshing cute pool unmonitored food breakfast buffet
the pool was refreshing and welcome after a day of sightseeing. it really helped to unwind.
The breakfast buffet was a real disappointment. The food was not monitored well. i saw several serving utensils was missing and food ran out quickly. it wasn't the standard i expect.

spacious room large swimming pool breakfast tea shambolic check-in payment issue worn rooms
The room was spacious. i found the swimming pool large. It allowed for doing laps. breakfast included tea.
Check-in felt shambolic. later, they wanted to take payment twice because the card machine was out of paper. rooms appear worn, suggesting the need for a refurbishment.

slow service warm temperature
the breakfast buffet included a good variety of local options. it was acceptable.
I found the room service quite slow. It took nearly an hour to get a simple order. additionally, the air conditioning in my room barely worked. the temperature remained uncomfortably warm even after adjusting the settings repeatedly.
