a romantic escape at its finest
city view morning coffee
i experienced a room upgrade to a suite that overlooked the city, it seemed like a dream. the hotel ensured we got seats in the library. it was a nice touch with snacks and drinks always available, especially in the morning with coffee and mini pastries

birthday celebration hotel staff cocktail quality efficient service
The hotel surprised my husband and I with champagne and cake in our room! This celebrated our birthdays, a very nice touch. Securing a reservation at Contessa proved difficult, so the hotel staff intervened. They arranged a table at our desired time. The staff was friendly and efficient. The bartender downstairs was fantastic. Her cocktails were perfect.
The valet service experienced delays. Retrieving my car took longer than expected.

an okay stay
convenient location gym equipment decent meal temperature control soft pillow a c
the location was convenient. it was across from the gardens. the gym had plenty of equipment. the restaurants offered decent meals, rooftop breakfast, and darker downstairs dinner.
the room lacked temperature control. it stayed at 72+ degrees with no adjustment. the a/c cut on occasionally, but it did not make a difference. the pillows felt soft and shapeless.
