a decent stay

helpful hostgreat breakfastunwelcoming stafflack of conversation
liz was very helpful! she gave us lots of advice about what to see. the breakfast was great, and i liked that there was a pub next door. i found it to be a great starting point for visiting the dingle peninsula.
the staff seemed a bit unwelcoming. i seemed like they didn't like tourists. i asked about the history and was just shown a mural on the wall instead of having a conversation about it.

Comfortable Stay with a Local Vibe

friendly staffdelicious dinnerlocal vibeexcellent breakfast
The staff was friendly and helpful. I enjoyed the roasted chicken dinner I had with mashed potatoes and vegetables. The bar downstairs provided an opportunity to meet friendly locals. Breakfast service was excellent.
The water pressure in the shower was slightly lower than I prefer.

satisfactory stay

tidy hotelclean designunwarm welcomehistorical information
The breakfast required pre-ordering the day before and was neatly prepared. the bathroom was tidy and featured a nice, clean design. Everything worked as expected.
the staff did not offer a particularly warm welcome! i felt they might not have favored tourists. asking about the history of the hotel, i was directed to a mural instead of receiving a personal explanation.
