unreliable wififirm bed
the wifi access proved unreliable. i was given a password at reception (which i found to be quite unhelpful) but it failed to connect for the duration of my stay. the bed was excessively firm. it was not particularly conducive to rest.

the staff were kind, also to my toddler.
The sunbeds on the balcony only had one cushion between them, so i rang down and asked for another cushion, but it never looked. i tried to watch tv, but it wasn't working. Eban came up and sent up a bottle of sparkling wine and a cheese plate to rectify the situation, but then we found the last occupants' nightwear under the pillow. this made me wonder if the bed linen was changed at all!!!

The location felt safe and offered easy access to many excellent restaurants nearby. Secure parking simplified our driving arrangements. The room seemed recently updated with new fixtures. It was refreshing. The staff proved helpful and attentive throughout my stay. It was a pleasant experience overall (i will return).
The room service menu looked somewhat limited in options after 10 pm.

The hotel features multiple pools, each catering to different preferences, including an adults-only section. There always seemed to be ample space and available loungers at the pools. The hotel provides beach access directly across the street.

The setting is fantastic, directly across from the beach with Table Mountain and the Apostles visible. The scenery changes dramatically from morning until sunset. The location allows easy access to local dining and attractions.

Staff members were consistently friendly and helpful in all areas. The reception staff provided useful restaurant recommendations. The staff really enhanced the stay (i was impressed by their dedication).
