Mixed experience at this inn

small room drainage smell
The location was great. That is the reason I booked it.
The room assigned to me was quite small. There was very little space to move around. There was also an intermittent smell of drains (this. I would also point out that the cleanliness, particularly in the corners of the room, could have been BETTER.

charming stay

fresh coffee sloe gin cooked breakfast
i found the room well-furnished with added bonuses. i enjoyed the fresh coffee and sloe gin provided (a lovely touch!). the breakfast, at the sister hotel, had lots of choice and food cooked to order.
I encountered a minor inconvenience with the check-in. i had to drive to the sister building to check in, then return to the first building to get the keys. It felt a little pointless.
Rooms
9/10
the room included stylish decorations and provided very comfortable bedding. i found it was well-appointed, with a great bed and a very good shower, which i greatly appreciated after a long day.
Location

A Decent Stay

dog-friendly atmosphere warm welcome unimpressive room big bath
I really appreciated the dog-friendly atmosphere! My cocker spaniel received a warm welcome. He even got a dog bed, bowl, and towel. He is now on the dog picture board!
Our room was not excellent at all. We were upgraded to a 'roomy' room, but it had a great big bath that took up all the space! I prefer showers, not baths in bedrooms.

The lounge area downstairs included a generous supply of water. extra coffee, biscuits and crisps, this was lovely! The sloe gin provided in the room was a particularly nice touch. The bathroom was a good size and featured a rain shower.

Average Stay, Some Issues Noted

road proximity fire exit light
The location was convenient, providing easy access to nearby attractions.
My room was too close to the road. Large vehicles passing by caused the whole room to shake. A bright green fire exit light inside the room also made it difficult to fall asleep. it was really annoying.
