we arrived quite late at night, close to 10 pm, due to a marina appointment the next morning. the gated parking offered excellent security right outside our door, reassuring. inside, the bed provided a very comfortable night's sleep.
i did notice teaspoons were missing from the tea-making facilities.

the hotel had a communal kitchen and dining area , which seemed useful for preparing meals. however , i did not notice any restaurants located nearby , so it is more suited to self-catering.

The hotel's location is central. Pubs are practically across the street. A pub with food is within walking distance from the accommodation. I found the self-catering setup practical, especially the communal kitchen. The family room provided ample space and a sofa bed for extra guests (or maybe just a long nap). The bathroom was particularly lovely, equipped with modern fixtures. I found plenty of storage, always a plus when traveling.
I hoped to book a twin room, but it was unavailable .

the accommodation included useful amenities like a hairdryer, a fan, and a mini fridge. toiletries and fresh towels were also available in the room. i found the tea, coffee, and biscuits provided to be a nice touch (i am fond of biscuits). parking outside my room was convenient as i prefer to avoid stairs.
i noticed the kitchen could benefit from some refreshing, as it looked a bit grimy. a deeper clean would improve it.
