balanced stay

room decorcomfortable sleepshower pressurelimited spacehigh noiselimited breakfast
i stayed in the beautiful double room bath. the room's decor was lovely (i especially liked the bath). the bed provided an comfortable sleep. the shower pressure was very good, and i was happy.
the space in the bedroom felt limited. i found it rather cramped. the noise level was high when the building was full, doors slamming, stairs creaking, and voices carrying. the breakfast offered limited choices and no hot options were available (payment was required after the first hot drink).

The china room was a very nice space. i found the top quality bedding provided a comfortable sleep. the bakery downstairs offered beautiful croissants and coffee. It enhanced my experience. i really appreciated the convenient location on the town square with a pub right opposite.
I found the space in the bedroom somewhat limited. It felt a bit cramped. when the hotel was full, the noise was noticeable with doors slamming and voices carrying. it impacted the tranquility i was hoping for.

a decent stay

sumptuous decorationimmaculate roomnatural soapempty hoteldoor key-padlack of staff
I loved that our room was sumptuously decorated. It was also looked super fresh. the bed was like sleeping on a cloud, and the sheets smelt divine? it had wine glasses. A record player. And extra heating as well! beautiful natural soaps were included. Plus a great shower with plenty of hot water.
The minor thing i noticed was that there was no one at reception. i felt very impersonal checking in to an evidently empty hotel. Door key-pads were the only point of contact. we didn't see any staff to ask for assistance.

the africa room was quirky and lovely. two dog beds, bowls, and treats were provided, a nice touch. breakfast at the bakery included items of my choice. the kings arms pub across the street offered great food and drinks.
