mixed feelings about the stay

thin walls creaky floorboards
the breakfast had a good choice.
The walls felt thin. I could hear conversations next door. the floorboards also creaked quite a bit, a bit bothersome at night when trying to sleep. i expected better soundproofing for the price.

adequate but some issues

impersonal check-in noisy road
the check-in process felt impersonal. i used a code on a lockbox and one of the owners ignored me in the garden as i arrived. the room got uncomfortably warm because it was over the kitchen. it also had a noisy road outside with farm traffic and a bus stop.

Really good Stay!

spacious room hot water well-kept garden
The room was spacious and beautifully decorated. I appreciated the high standard of facilities, including the flawless bath and shower with plenty of hot water. The outdoor garden was huge and well-kept with several areas for relaxation. There were enough chairs so reserving wasn't necessary (I liked that a lot!).
The floorboards were slightly creaky.

Okay stay, some issues with the room

impersonal check-in small room
The check-in process felt impersonal. I had to use a code on a lock box. One of the owners was actually in the garden but didn't acknowledge us. The room was small and very warm. I think it was above the kitchen with the Aga stove. Opening the windows was necessary, but it let in insects and road noise.
