The hotel is conveniently located near the River Crouch and Blue House Nature Reserve. This provides opportunities for scenic walks along the sea wall and salt marshes. The cabin featured Essex woodboard style. The shower worked well.
There was an issue with the food . The ploughman's lacked any flavour. The prices were reasonable, but this visit didn't meet my expectations (as I'm a regular visitor).

i found the rooms very clean with ample parking. the staff was friendly and helpful throughout my visit. the location near the river offered nice walk options. i especially enjoyed the quiet atmosphere.
the car park was almost empty during a specific time.

the room was super clean with good decor. the beds were very comfy with cotton bedding. the bathroom was a good size and the shower was excellent.
i have visited many times and always loved it , but this time the food was tasteless. the service was excellent and food arrived quickly and hot , but i found it lacked any flavour.

The staff were attentive. They ensured all needs were met. i enjoyed delicious food prepared with fresh ingredients. the room was spotlessly clean, i found this very appreciable. it created a supremely relaxing environment for me.
the car park was a little EMPTY.
