flickering lightthin walls
The room was quite compact. A flickering light in the bathroom was also annoying. Soundproofing was not great . I could hear every word from the adjacent room. The porch light shone brightly through gaps in the door , and the blinds did little to block it , so I had trouble sleeping.

Anne, the landlady, and her team are super friendly and cute! the food was delicious. Anne even woke up early to make my breakfast because i had an early start (how thoughtful is that?). the room was very clean and well appointed, i must say.
the room was a little bit small for my liking.

the hotel is located in a beautiful country setting. it is a proper local, that gives a relaxed atmosphere. the pub has a lot of character, which i like!

the landlady is hard working and happy to help! the service is personal and thoughtful. the staff are also very keen to please dogs.

My room had a secluded courtyard for guest use. the food in the pub was really good. the staff were helpful, and the landlady anne. nothing was too much trouble for her. She really looked after us.
