The staff was friendly. They offered a warm welcome upon arrival. The room was clean. There was decent parking available too.
The view from the room was not great. It overlooked a roof. The bathroom felt small, it was almost claustrophobic. I also had to wait a long time for warm water in the shower.

the staff seemed quite friendly, alright. the carvery dinner onsite was acceptable. nothing to write home about. though.
the bathroom was small. i almost couldn't turn around in there. the floorboards creaked. it sounded like someone was constantly trying to sneak up on me.
