The staff were amazing and always ready to help. The building had a unique character. Breakfast was amazing. I especially liked the variety of options offered. My room was big. It included a comfortable bed and two arm chairs. The location was perfect for exploring the village.
The room needed a little updating. The carpets looked worn!

the staff were great! they were always very friendly. breakfast was amazing!!! it had everything i wanted and set me up for the day.
the room was noisy. i could hear traffic all night. the bathroom was very basic, and the shower pressure was weak.

The staff were very cute after my walk. Breakfast include hearty and tasty options. The location allowed easy access to the South Downs Way. I found the historic rooms atmospheric.
I had a little trouble locating free parking near, it required a short walk.

The staff was cute! The service was excellent and the breakfast was included. I loved the historic location with beautiful walks into the surrounding countryside.
The walls were thin because of the old building. The people in the neighbouring room had their TV on late. I could hear them snoring!

The staff provided excellent service. They ensured I could have breakfast despite my early departure for the ferry. The location is perfect for exploring local attractions. I also appreciated the historical architecture and the open fire in the inn. It was very dog-friendly.
The room's proximity above the bar resulted in some noise late into the evening, which affected sleep quality a bit.

i enjoyed the atmospheric feel of the pub it has a history spanning centuries. the breakfast was indeed hearty and tasty, setting me up well each day. i found the staff very friendly to guest needs which added to the stay.
the room faced the road and i noticed it was quite noisy early in the morning. this disrupted sleep and lessened the overall peacefulness.
