Martin and Mel welcomed me warmly. I checked my bags in early. I found pretty Christmas tree lights on and a roaring fire. My room had a comfy bed and fine views of the valley.
Noise travelled from the pub downstairs. It got quiet after 11pm.

The staff was very accommodating. The location offered fine views from the beer garden. The meals were prepared with locally sourced ingredients. This.
The noise from the pub downstairs traveled into the room above. This was noticeable, but it quieted after 11 pm. Our bathroom had some dead flies on arrival. The matter was not addressed to my satisfaction, and I was hoping for a small discount.

I enjoyed the lovely staff and the very helpful owner. The atmosphere was good there. I liked the fabulous view from the hotel. The food was amazing too. The quality pub and rooms. I found the service friendly.
I noticed some noise from the pub downstairs. It stopped after 11 PM though.
